It’s far from surprising, but the trend at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2014) is packing as many pixels as possible into the devices we love. TVs, tablets, monitors, you name it and it is getting a higher resolution screen. That’s great to see in a showroom, but if the prices are astronomically high the average consumer is left wanting what they can’t have. Luckily for us, that’s all changed this week. Michael Bay Meltdown Steals The Show At CES 2014

Samsung unveiled lots at CES today. New Ultra High Definition TVs and some new tablets aimed at the pro market. But by far the biggest story was the meltdown that took place when director Michael Bay took the stage. After the teleprompter apparently malfunctioned, Bay was forced to “wing it.” Instead he fumbled his words and excused himself from the stage seconds later. Check it out for yourself above. As I said earlier on Twitter, I’m not sure why Michael Bay had so much trouble without a teleprompter. Most of his movies don’t have a script anyways. BOOM! ROASTED!

Samsung Unpacked At IFA 2013

IFA 2013 is the world’s largest consumer electronics show. It has taken place in Berlin since 1924, with over 200,000 visitors and exhibitors expected this year. Since 2011 Samsung has been announcing its Galaxy Note series of smartphones at the show. Often dubbed “phablets”, these large screened smartphones have carved out a pretty big niche for themselves.
